I am an experienced tutor, and I hold a bachelor's degree in Zoology that I earned at the University of California Santa Barbara. My educational journey is not yet over, and I plan to attend medical school soon. While earning my bachelor's degree, I tutored many of my fellow students to help them achieve better grades and test scores. I have experience tutoring chemistry, history, ecology, math, biology, and physics courses. However, I can also tutor various other subjects, including AP and Honors courses. When I tutor, I find that my students learn best when I find ways to relate what they are learning to their everyday lives. I think that connecting lessons to real life both helps students understand the material and helps them realize how important it is to learn. I also like to take complicated material and break it down into smaller lessons and steps that are easier to comprehend. When not tutoring, I love to play sports. My favorite sports are soccer, football, basketball, tennis, and baseball. I played these sports throughout high school and college. I also enjoy reading good books, listening to music, and watching movies.
