Experience
Hello! Primarily I am an English tutor, but I have experience tutoring college students in many subjects such as psychology, history, sociology, etc. Through Diablo Valley College (DVC) I am a certified English tutor, and through DVC I have gained a wide array of experience. Primarily I have worked with ESL students, but I have also worked with students with disabilities such as ADD as well as deaf students. Also, I will be working as a supplemental instructor at DVC in the Fall for an ESL class. Through my experience, I have learned to identify a student's need quickly; therefore, your time will be very well spent. :) I also utilize many different tutoring methods which I have acquired through my time tutoring. I want to be a tutor because I love learning, and I love helping students! More often than not learning is a challenge, and I think it is a brave move to ask for help and seek a tutor.
