Experience
I work as an Associate Teacher at an independent school in Oakland in a kindergarten classroom. I've taught kindergarten for two years now and particularly enjoy one on one time. I have experience encouraging and furthering development of skills such as numbers/math, reading, writing, fine motor skills and social emotional development. Teaching children in ways that are fun and engaging are most successful in my experience and although I work with younger children, I am more than willing and excited to help children of other ages whether they need a little bit of extra practice in any subject, guidance through homework, test preparation, etc.
